Video guide for the updated function of the 2JTabs. We made update for the direct link to the tab. Now you can customize direct link to the tab. To the Joomla! menu you can insert link to the article where you publish 2JTabs instance and add id of the tab which you wish to see active as additional link parameter. Most interesting that with new update you can add some custom text to the end of this parameter. For example: #2jtabs-1-3-Some-text-here or #2jtabs-1-2-Some-title-of-the-article Please check this video if you need this functionality.

How to setup nested tabs with 2JTabs? It's not so hard how it's could be imagined! In this video you can see guide for nested tabs setup. We create one external tab which was inserted to the article by multitags. Another 2 instances inserted to this external tabs. All 2JTabs instances have different settings, themes, content and click events. If you wish you can insert more instances into each other. So many times we've been asked to explain how to setup Polariod style demo with 2JGallery. So we decide to make this video guide with explanations. It's not so hard as it's looks like from a side. Here you can find setp by step instruction of the Polaroid style thumbnails setup. Also you can see difference between loading images with enabled and disabled Lazy Load option. It's also very useful option for the big set of images. Lazy Load make gallery loading process looks much better.

2J ScrollTo it's very flexible and simple extension for page scrolling. It have two different functionality modes:
1) You can publish on the front end buttons and set for every button direction of the scrolling. You can set different targets, for example some page text, CSS class, CSS id, anchor, tag or simple move to the top.
2) It's SmoothScroll mode when 2JScrollTo pick up all anchors at the links automatically and apply smooth scroll effect to the anchor from the link.
In current video you can find setup of the first mode with buttons.

2J Gallery it’s the one of the most effective and attractive ways to organize your images gallery on Joomla! website. You have here all necessary tools for creation of the gallery, upload images and customization of the front end interface. Front end interface is CSS3 based what is most important it’s highly customizable. 2J Gallery have 8 pre-configured themes with 4 different animation on Hover effects and 6 lightboxes.

Joomla.org migrated to Joomla! 2.5

Last week www.joomla.org website migrated from Joomla! 1.5 to Joomla! 2.5. We know that very soon Joomla 1.5 will reach the 'end of life' status and the version will no longer be supported by the Joomla project.
Joomla Project asking all Joomla! users to join them in this action. Migration process is not so hard. Core migration you can accomplish with some of the migragtion extension in JED. Another important part of the migration it's update your custom extensions and template for versions compatible with Joomla! 2.5
We already joined to this wave and transfer our website from Joomla! 1.5 to Joomla! 2.5 so we already started using all advantages of the new Joomla! 2.5
For our customers who still using extensions for Joomla 1.5 and have a plans to transfer they website to new Joomla! 2.5 i wish to say that all our extensions compatible with Joomla! 2.5. Joomla! 3.0 Alpha Released

Joomla Project announces Joomla! 3.0 Alpha release. It's avaliable for download from JoomlaCode website here: Joomla! 3.0 Alpha 1
Joomla Project do not recommend to install it on production websites. This version allow only for testing of the custom extensions so that extensions developers could find some bugs before final release. This release already contain all main platform changes, so we can expect only small add-ons or fixes. Extensions compatible with Joomla! 1.6/1.7/2.5 will require some changes to be compatible with Joomla! 3.0.
Planned date for the final release of the Joomla! 3.0 on or about 24 September 2012. Also here we have some around planned dates of the milestones:
- on or about 23 July - Joomla 3.0 alpha-2 released;
- middle of the August - Feature freeze to prepare for beta release;
- late of the Autust - Joomla 3.0 beta 1 to be released;
- on or about 24 September - Joomla 3.0.0 released;
According to 2JoomlaNet extensions we already started to preparing updates of our extensions. So we have a plan to release fully compatible versions of 2J Image Viewer, 2J Carousel, 2J Tabs and 2J News Slider till the date of the final release of the Joomla! 3.0
