How to use plugin tags in 2JToolBox?

In 2JToolBox we had implemented advanced plugin tags manager. Now you don’t need to keep in mind any plugin tag, you just need to open article and there you’ll find 2JToolBox button. 2JToolBox button – it’s plugin tags manager button.

First of all you need to use 2JToolBox component / Instance Manager to setup some instances of the extensions (for example instance of the tabs or some slider), and only after that you can go into the article and put some tags inside it.

Next step: open required article for edit:

2JToolBox content tags1 Here on the left buttom corner of the editor you can see 2JToolBox button. When you click on this button you’ll see popup with tags manager. Follow instruction you’ll be able to prepare plugin tag and insert it into content.
2JToolBox content tags2 Here’s the first step of the popup manager. On the top side you can see some basic instruction. Below you’ll see “Content Tag Type ” field, where you need to select type of the insertion. This field have two values: Single or Multi tags.Single tag for the case when you setup instance of the extension in 2JToolBox component “Instance Manager” and there specify all required resources for this plugin, for example joomla content or some images.

Multi tag for the case when you planning to load content into plugin from current article. For example you setup tabs or contet slider from content of current article. When you click insert button manager insert few tags and you’ll be able to put some content between this tags.

2JToolBox content tags3 If you select Multi tag value you’ll see two new fields below: Select Type and Select Instance.Select Type – here you select type of the 2JToolBox plugin. For example if you have installed plugins for 2JNewsSlider, 2JTabs and 2JCarousel, then in this fields you’ll be able to select tabs, slider or carousel.

Select Instance – when you select type you’ll get access to all instances for this type. You’ll see all items which you setup in component Instances Manager for selected plugin.
To finish configuration just click on “Insert Tag” and you’ll see result in article content.

2JToolBox content tags4 When you select “Single tag” only difference between previous and current step it’s result of the insertion. Configuration options the same.Also in the case with single tag you’ll see this tag inside title of the “Insert button”
